POLICY FOR SUBMISSIONS
LotFP will attempt to cover each and every submission we receive. We do reviews and interviews, for the website and for the print edition.
Do send something that will be/is available to people. The primary purpose of LotFP is communication with the readers, not to service bands and labels. We are not here to give you "press clippings" so don't send us teaser tracks that you don't want the public to hear. Unless you just like us personally in which case we'd be glad to receive it and listen to it without the responsibility of coverage. :D
We should receive enough material as part of the submission to do our job. The full release is a must, in CD format. We will not provide coverage based on MP3s or anything on your website. No voice-overs, faded tracks, or any sort of altered sound, please. Those will go straight in the garbage. Full packaging is not required, but we can only provide coverage if the lyrics are available to us. Lyrics are important, and if you don't think so, you better be sending an instrumental CD.

LotFP does have other contributors. Check out the contact page. Note that they submit material at their leisure and are not "employees" and LotFP is not their "boss". If you think they would be better recipients of your latest release than the editor of the site, contact them and make arrangements, as LotFP can not guarantee coverage for releases sent to them. That's just a disclaimer, as LotFP thinks they rock or they wouldn't be listed on the Contact page to begin with.
